Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST) has been a pioneering force since its establishment in 1977 in advancement of Value Engineering (VE) in India. Dedicated to the Promotion, Advocacy, Certification, and Education of VE, INVEST is the sole authorized institution in India for offering comprehensive certification courses in VE. Our programs cater to students, trainers, and practitioners, aligning the curriculum with the Indian context and ensuring a holistic learning experience, encompassing lectures, assignments, and hands-on project work. It is also well-known for the high-quality, customised training programs and advisory services
INVEST is hosting the prestigious 40th Annual International Conference in Value Engineering, in association with the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneshwar, India. The theme is “AI and the Future of VE”. It is only of its kind in India and has global participation from the government, industry and academia. The conference aims to spark a dynamic exchange of ideas on how AI can be integrated with VE practices. This fusion holds immense promise for unlocking new levels of efficiency, productivity, and problem-solving across diverse sectors

Call for Papers
Abstract and Paper Submission
The conference invites abstracts and papers from professionals and students on topics aligned with the conference theme demonstrating or application of VE. This necessitates that the papers based on projects and case studies should reflect the relevance of integration of AI with application of VE for optimising benefits. All selected abstracts will be published in the eSouvenir. The best papers will be published in INVAVE, the exclusive quarterly journal on VE by INVEST.
Paper Presentation
Selected papers shall be presented by the author(s) only in person. A maximum of 15 minutes with 5 minutes for discussion will be allowed.
Paper Evaluation
Papers will be evaluated based on objective scoring for compliance to Value Methodology as promoted by SAVE International, quality, and originality of the paper by the technical committee of VE experts. Their decision would be final and binding.

Three Best Papers
Three Best Papers awards will be presented for the best papers in both the technical and non-technical categories. These include cash prizes, certificates and reimbursement to to participate in various international conferences, including SAVE Value Summit.

Soundaram Kannapan Medal, a prestigious award is given to a member who has delivered the highest number of lectures or sessions (at least 6) on VE in a public forum during the previous financial year.

These recognize organisational efforts for effective deployment of VE for improving the total value of its operations during the past year.
